There is plenty to do at the beach—building sandcastles, flying kites, playing in the water—but if you’re planning on spending a full day by the ocean, it can be hard to keep little ones content.

Break out this beachy scavenger hunt that will have kids of all ages in on the hunt!

Collect:

  • 5 differently shaped shells
  • Seaweed
  • Unopened clam shell
  • Bottle of sand
  • Driftwood

Spot:

  • Blue trunks
  • Pink swimsuit
  • 3 seagulls
  • Beach ball
  • Fish
  • Dolphin (extra points!)
  • Surfer

Photograph:

  • Lifeguard tower
  • Sailboat
  • Inflatable raft
  • Sandcastle
  • High-flying kite
